| Let me say that there are two reasons I am writing this review (first time writing a review for anything). First, I could not find a single review for this guitar since it recently came out in the U.S. Second, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this guitar. I have been playing guitar for 18 years (off and on) and I am by no means an authority on anything guitar related but I must say that this guitar is a real gem for the money. I also own a Gibson WM-45 acoustic and just recently sold an 1920's L3. I love the Gibson sound and some may think I am crazy but this guitar HAS it. It's wonderfully warm, much more so than my WM-45. Build wise I am again impressed. It feels like a Gibson, although there are some very very minor imperfections in the finish. Nothing worth even mentioning further. I was hooked from the moment I first played it in the store. I chose to take the store model rather than one in the box in the back because this one sounded so sweet. I didn't even want to see the other one. Also, for some reason mine cost $249 rather than the listed $299. Even the guy at Guitar Center thought it was a mistake. In any case, a guitar that sounds this good should cost WAY more than $249-299. If you have a chance to go and play this one, do it. Thanks for reading. |
